About us

Our 4-acre homestead rests on the ancestral Chippewa (Ojibwe) land in the mitten of the Midwest. With utmost care, we embrace our role as stewards of this cherished land, dedicated to planting native perennials, eradicating invasive species, and offering a delightful array of annual flowers that beckon pollinators.

Everything we grow is an expression of love, and we are truly thankful for the chance to share our goodies with family and community. In cultivating this land and caring for the creatures who dwell on it, we honor the rich history it holds and celebrate the interconnected beauty that blossoms from our collective efforts. We're so excited to enter our second growing season on the homestead! Here's a peak at some of our plans coming in Spring 2024.

Our Roadside Farm Stand

We're building a cute little roadside farm stand to offer farm fresh eggs, veggies, fresh-cut flowers, and cottage foods like homemade sourdough baked goods to our neighbors and community.

Local Farmer's Markets

Our cut flower creations will be available at local shops and farm markets, like one of our favorite places, The Farmer's Daughters' Market!

Flowers, Bees, and Butterflies

We're venturing into the world of cut flower farming in addition to expanding our butterfly habitat and native wildflower gardens. Adding a few hives to the homestead is also on the list of magic happening this year!
